The Shen Lab lab investigates the genetic, epigenetic and metabolic mechanisms of cancer evolution. Our research is focused on understanding the role of PTEN in protecting the genome, maintaining chromatin architecture, suppressing tumorigenesis, and governing tumor immunity. Our studies employ knockout or knockin mice to model human cancers, aiming to identify druggable targets for precision cancer treatment.
