We study how Th17 cells develop in mouse and human, and how IL-17 functions to balance inflammatory and regulatory roles during infection and autoimmunity. We are particularly interested in understanding how IL-17 signaling in stromal cells leads to their metabolic reprogramming and capacity to modulate adaptive immune responses.
